La Residence D'Angkor is located close to the centre of Siem Reap town and 5km from the Angkor temple site, making it a perfect sanctuary to relax in after a hard days exploring.

The hotel is decorated in a traditional Khmer style with dark teak wood and intruigate hand carvings a main feature of the property. The modern amenities that one would expect from a 5 star hotel compliment thos effectivly. The resort is centered around an inviting pool area offering relaxation during the midday heat.

The UNESCO temples of Angkor are clearly the main draw here; the complex is located 5km outside of Siem Reap. Private excursions to watch the sunrise over the ancient ruins of Ta Prohm or the famous towers of Angkor Wat can easily be arranged. Further afield the outer complex temples such at Beng Melea or Koh Ker can easily be reached as well as the mighty Tonle Sap lake home to intriguing floating villages.

Travel Information

Siem Reap is the third largest city in Cambodia but arguably sees the most travelers owing to the attraction of Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. Flights operate several times a day from the capital Phnom Penh as well as from major Asian hubs such as Bangkok, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
