Just outside Jaipur, conveniently close to the amazing Amber Fort, lie 40 perfect white cubes in a picturesque valley. You have reached RASA - India's most unique concept accommodation. The 40 luxury cubes are lined inside like tents, and that is the theme they are recreating here, but what luxury they provide.

The scenery surrounding this amazing plot of land is a highlight and all within easy reach of jaipur (c. 20 minutes to the centre and only 5 minutes to Amber Fort which can be seen from the property).

 

For anyone seeking innovative Indian design coupled with 5* service and food, then RASA is for you.

 

Rooms:

Each 500 square foot cube is identical and has an unusal inverted V shape entrance. The bedrooms are very well appointed and are lined with linen to create the tent effect. The beds are enourmous and incredibly comfortable and the ammenities in the room everything you would expect from a 5* product.

The bathrooms have a sunken bath with rainfall shower head overlooking an enclosed rock garden. There is a luggage area and safe also.

Outside, each residence has its own canopied day bed looking out to the nearby hills. Parts of the original Amber Fort perimter wall can be seen rnning up the ridges of each hill and is a smaller version tof the Great Wall of China and in immaculate condition. In front of this each room has its own patch of grass lending itself again to the camping theme.

 

Dining:

An eclectic menu of Indian and Western food will satisfy all palates. The Chicken Tikka was fantastic, unlike anything you will find in the UK ! Breakfast is a choice of Continental, American or Indian and the fresh fruit, particularly the papaya and lime , was a great way to start the day.
