Location
The location of The Blue Water will not disappoint – directly on a beachfront lined with swaying coconut palms. The transfer time from the airport is 1.5 to 2 hours.
The hotel was designed by Geoffrey Bawa and from the moment you step into the stunning entrance, the whole hotel has a smooth, luxurious feel to it. As well as the sea, the hotel boasts one of Asia’s largest swimming pools. There is also tennis, squash and table tennis for those not keen to spa.
Rooms
The hotel has a total of 100 rooms, 96 deluxe and 4 suites and there are several dining options, including the Admiral's Room for fine dining. All the rooms are modern and contemporary in style and have sea views with a private balcony or terrace. There's also satellite TV, telephone and a mini bar amongst other things.
Spa
The modern style Spa has been designed using the textures of stone, water and wood, and surrounded by water, the 4 treatment rooms are partially covered and partially open to the elements. There is also a traditional bathing area, similar to the old European Spas which also has chairs and sun beds to relax in after treatments. The Spa menu offers international treatments, with some great packages. Treatments include Shiatsu, Thai Massage, and Reflexology.
