Location
Based in the heart of Backwater country, 50km from Cochin, the Radisson is Kumarakom’s newest luxury hotel. From an on-site executive chef ensuring that the cuisine suits your palate to a cigar lounge to the high-end rooms, this hotel has been carefully thought out and will cater for anything you could possibly want. The vista at 
night is stunning. Opening soon is the hotel’s own jetty, to where you will travel by speedboat to check-in.
Rooms
There are 4 categories of room: Superior Lagoon View Rooms, Deluxe Lagoon View Rooms, Superior Lagoon View Cottages, and Lake View Pool Villas. All rooms are contemporary and in keeping with Radisson’s high standard and modern design. Each Pool Villa comes with a Villa Host who ensures unrivalled service. The rooms have all the usual facilities you would expect from a 5* hotel including Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a large marble bathroom with separate power shower and sunken bathtub.
Spa
The Spa is the largest in Southern India and boasts 2 wings – 1 dedicated to Ayurvedic treatments and the other to Western style treatments where all the Oriental and Western therapies are offered. Treatments include: Lomi lomi massage, shiatsu, deep tissue massage and shirodhara. There is also a yoga pavilion situated on the lake.
The cuisine here really is a major highlight and the Chef will ensure you are happy, even if what you want is not on the menu. The dishes vary from high Indian cuisine to sumptuous Western offerings that will have you going back for more.
