Save time and money

Time  wasters

If you ask most people what the most precious commodity in the world is today you will get a range of answers from gold and silver to diamonds and sapphires. However, in reality, the most valuable commodity is not something you can touch or even see but we all increasingly crave more of it – FREE TIME.

On average, people spend 16 hours researching and booking their holidays when doing it themselves. Many take a lot more time - this is just the average for a week in the sun. Included in this search will be deciding the country or region to go to, researching which hotel and room type as well as trying to find the best flight deal or schedule.

On average, our clients spend only around 45 minutes in consultation with us and we deliver two to three options to choose from based on the remit we have been given. Added to this,  they never pay a penny more for all this time saving, service and knowledge. If you take into account the time spent – 2 full working days -  then the saving is huge on every level.

The savings don’t stop there.  Over the years, we have come across many examples where clients have come to us after a disastrous DIY holiday the year before. Typical complaints are hotels that seem nice but in reality are not and cheap flights that turned out to be cheap for a reason. Who in their right mind would want to have a 12 hour layover in Ankara en-route to Dubai when the direct option was only £59 more and the subsequent hotel needed in Ankara to avoid sleeping on the terminal floor cost more than the flight saving anyway….

These are classic mistakes made by intelligent people and the internet is largely to blame by being very unclear on routings for airlines and showing only the best rooms/ suites in an hotel

Similarly, hotel and airline prices are often not what they seem with taxes often being left out of the costing altogether until you get your final bill on checking out of the hotel.

A recent example comparing an hotel in the Maldives, revealed that the inital price shown online was £2,633 cheaper than the real price. Why ? 27% taxes not shown, seaplane transfers not included, property service charge tax not included. These are all compulsory charges and would be levied to the customer on check out. That's a big chunk of money if you are not expecting it.
