Location

Centrally located within vibrant Bangkok, is Amari Watergate, set in one of the most bustling parts of the city.

The hotel has a wonderful choice of restaurants; we recommend the dim sum in the Chinese restaurant, cooked by the resident Chef from Hong Kong. Afternoon tea in the lobby bar is also recommended. If you want a break from the Spa (see below) or from the shopping, sights and sounds of Bangkok, there is a swimming pool on the 8th floor.

Rooms

There are 4 room categories, 3 of these are the same size, with differing amenities. – Deluxe, Grand deluxe, and Executive. The Executive rooms have access to a different checking in floor, and to private breakfast. Even the Deluxe rooms are of the highest quality, most with amazing views over the cityscape – amazing at night. The 4th category of room is the Suites, of which there are 7, which have a HUGE, fabulous bathroom.

Spa

The serene urban Spa itself is quite new (2004) . Open until 10pm, the excellent professionalism and skill of the practitioners will leave you completely unwound. The range of treatments available will suit all, whether you are looking for skin rejuvenation, body relaxation or a body wrap, and whether you are at the start, end or in the middle of your holiday. They also have double treatment rooms with Jacuzzi / rainfall shower. We would thoroughly recommend the stress-buster massage.

This urban gem, is the perfect Asian city hotel. Somewhere different for a long weekend perhaps…
