The “Dining Room” restaurant looks out across lush green hills and the neighbouring golf course. Another dining option is the Gonbei Japanese restaurant, and high tea is served in the Jim Thompson tea room.

Rooms

There are 56 well appointed rooms and suites, most of them overlooking the golf course. The Deluxe rooms are very spacious, comprising of dark wood furniture and cream upholstery, and have wonderful 4-poster beds complemented by black marble bathrooms (showers only). In addition, there are 4 Junior Suites, 2 Two Bedroom Suites, 1 Cameron Suite and 1 Jim Thompson Suite.

Spa

The Spa (the only luxury Spa in the Cameron Highlands area), opens 9am to 9pm, and features healing therapies based on produce from the surrounding area plus ancient tea rituals. Before each treatment a signature tea bath takes place. Treatments include: strawberry aroma massage, avocado scalp treatment, and lomi lomi massage.

The cooler air of the highlands makes this an ideal getaway for those averse to heat or wanting a break from sun worshipping. The area is tinged with colonial reminders not to mention constant reminders of the American Jim Thompson, credited with revitalising Thailand's silk industry, who mysteriously disappeared here in 1967 whilst on a walk in the hills. You can even follow his last known footsteps in the Jim Thompson Mystery Trail. This hotel provides something different from just a beach holiday, and a perfect complement to the West Coast or Terengganu.

All rooms overlook the lush greenery. The king-bedded rooms are furnished with four Poster beds.

Junior Suite (4)

A perfectly designed one-bedroom suite with a spacious feel

Two-Bedroom Suite (2)

This is a personal family suite, which shares one spacious bathroom between a double room and twin room with four-poster beds. Ideal for small families, this 670 square feet suite includes a cosy sitting area and accommodates 2 adults and 2 children or 4 adults.

Cameron Suite and Jim Thompson Suite (2)

A spacious two-bedroom suite featuring a double room with four-poster bed and a twin room. This suite includes luxurious en suite bathrooms as well as a cosy sitting and dining area complete with comfortable settee.

Food & Beverage

The Dining Room, which serves Colonial cuisine, provides a comfortable and spacious dining venue. Breakfast and dinner are prepared using the freshest ingredients, local herbs and spices. Seats 65 persons.

The Jim Thompson Tea Room is a cosy venue at any time of the day. Traditional English and local fare is offered for lunch. Afternoon tea includes a daily selection of baked pastries and fresh highland berries as well as homemade English scones. An extensive selection of quality teas is available. Seats 55 Persons.

The Highlands Bar is the perfect venue offering refreshments, cocktails and after-dinner drinks with a panoramic view of the surrounding hills.

The Reading Room is a popular venue for those who want some quiet moments to catch up on their reading.

Our Japanese restaurant, Gonbei opens for dinner and serves tasty tempura, fresh sashimi, soba and popular bento sets. Seats 60 persons.
