Location

This beachside resort is a haven of good old fashioned luxury with 67 rooms in all, offering a whopping 99m2 as the smallest size room, going up to a gargantuan 364m2 for the Legian suite. There is even one more room that surpasses that, the private beach house set in its own gardens with a 16 metre pool, 2 day beds, 4 sun beds (so you don’t have to move with the sun), a private butler and, the icing on the cake, assistance at customs on landing before they whisk you by private helicopter directly to the resort.

Rooms

There is also another part of the hotel, the Club at the Legian, situated close by, with 16 1-bedroom pool villas, a 3 bedroom villa and 3 spa/pool villas. There is a private Club lounge and also a 35 metre swimming pool for Club guests, should you get bored of your own 10 metre pool. For residents of these villas, the Beach House and the Seminyak and Legian suites, the following is laid on: Limousine transfers to and from the airport, complimentary mini-bar, unlimited laundry, Limousine at your disposal within the immediate area of Legian, Seminyak and Kuta plus a private butler service. Dining

The dining options are no less impressive. If you don't want to dine in the fantastic main restaurant, why not go to the lobby bar for something lighter or have your very own 5 course dinner tailor-made with your favourite bottle of wine sitting in a private area overlooking the beach. Failing that, just order your meal to be taken to your room.

Spa

The Spa is as you'd expect from a hotel nominated in 2004 for Best Signature Treatment and Leading World Spa by “SpaAsia”. The spa is as ornate as it is luxurious and the range of treatments a good mix of East and West with some Ayurvedic options alo available – Shirodhara being the most notable.

All in all, you could not wish for much more of a classical luxury hotel on the beach with good old fashioned service, especially if you've got the butler option included. The Beach House should be tried, if only for a couple of nights to finish off your stay.

The Seminyak Suite and The Legian Suite

For those in search of a quiet area for sunbathing, The Legian suite incorporates an ocean view terrace of more than 140 square metres as a lavish leisure area overlooking the pool.
