Location

This unique and stunning property, recently voted Thailand’s Leading Resort 2007, is
located on the southern coast of Koh Lanta, which still maintains the laid-back vibe which has disappeared from other islands. Please ask us about the various ways to get to Lanta.

Emphasis here has been placed on building this resort in keeping with the natural environment, and all employees are trained in the recycling programme. The resort occupies 100 acres of lush hillside vegetation overlooking the Andaman sea (with the iconic limestone rocks visible in the distance) and consequently never feels crowded, even in peak season.

This deluxe resort offers a wide choice of great dining and drinking options, as well as recreational facilities such as 2 swimming pools, tennis courts, Thai cookery lessons, and an onsite PADI dive centre (November to April). Elephant trekking excursions are also available.

Rooms

There are 2 standard room types: Deluxe Room and Bayfront Deluxe Room; 2 types of Suite – with open-air shower in a private garden: Pavilion Suite 1 bedroom and Pavilion Suite 2 bedrooms; Villas (beach and hillside with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms). All Villas have their own infinity-edged swimming pool, (except 1 bedroom beach villas, which share a 55 square metre pool with 3 other units). The Pool Villas are located on the hillside, overlooking the resort and benefit from their own facilities such as check-in and separate restaurant and main pool.

Each room is well equipped with air-conditioning, Satellite TV & DVD/CD players, IDD Telephone, LAN cable with free internet access, mini bar, large bathroom, bathtub & separate shower, bathrobes & slippers, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, beach towels and a balcony or terrace.

Spa

The Spa is an amazingly tranquil oasis, built within the jungle habitat with a small
waterfall and stream running through its middle. There are 7 treatment rooms and the choice of treatments here includes several rejuvenating packages. Yoga takes place 6 days a week. You cannot help but relax here and the range and quality of treatments is excellent.

Caution concerning the Pool Villas

The Pool Villas One, Two & Three Bedrooms are situated some 60 meters above sea level in a serene rainforest and offers unrivalled ocean views, magnificent sunsets and all round total privacy. The Villas have all steep drop-off from the terraces and infinity-edge pool so parents with toddlers or young children who wish to book such Villas should be aware that they will have to be especially vigilant in safeguarding their young ones & toddlers from these potential dangers.

Transportation

From Nov to Apr Transportation consists of approx. 50mns drive followed by 50 mns ride on of out resort boats. Transfer times from November to April varies from 1h50mns to 2h15mns pending on weather, sea and road conditions. For safety reasons, the resort boats do not operate between 6.00pm and 6.00am. Land transfers can still be arranged to meet the first and last ferry crossing times. From May to Oct all transfers are arranged via land and island ferries (2 ferries of 15mns and 7 mns crossing time, respectively), resulting in a transfer time of approx. 2hrs20mns to 2h30mns. Transfers from Phuket, Khaoloak, Trang can also be arranged. Seaplane and Helicopter may also be available from Phuket airport; information and quotation upon request.
