Location

Situated on Sri Lanka’s beautiful west coast, close to Bentota, one word can sum up Saman Villas – stunning. The jaw-dropping view, the position, your residence, everything here is fantastic. The resort effectively has 2 beaches as the rocky headland it sits on splits the sand either side of the property. The beach is easy to access by a short pathway whichever side you choose to relax on.

This boutique hotel has 5 categories of suites, all having a sea view, and all being luxurious in standard. Each suite has a day-bed and open-air bath and shower. The categories are: Superior (13), Deluxe (4), Deluxe with private pool (8), Grand Deluxe with pool (1), and Presidential Suite with pool (1). They are all equipped with telephone, CD player, LCD panel TV, hair dryer, make-up mirror and mini-bar.

Spa

The boutique type Sahana Spa is the perfect size for this hotel, and we have handpicked some great treatment programmes for you to relax and enjoy. Individual treatments include: Hot stone massage, aromatherapy massage, and Indian head massage. 26 extravagantly furnished suites plus one two-storey villa. These are built in the form of separate villas on either side of the rocky headland for maximum privacy. Designed in the best of traditional Sri Lankan style, the accommodation offers every comfort.

Two restaurants overlooking the pool and the sea beyond; the terrace restaurant caters for breakfast and lunch while the main restaurant on the upper level is open exclusively for dinner. The menus at the main restaurant offer a wide selection of Eastern, Western and Sri Lankan dishes with an extensive range of wines to complement your cuisine.

The Sahana Spa, a luxury all suite garden spa offers an array of treatments. Each suite features facilities of a luxury spa and offer treatments in complete privacy. The Deluxe Suite, set in a water garden, is comprised of an aromatic sauna, steam shower, Jacuzzi, mud bath, treatment room and dining pavilion
