Location

Located on a small island off the coast of south west Thailand, Sevenseas Resort is probably the most authentic example of deserted beach front luxury that we have ever found. Its beach front position is perfect in every way, topped off by the fact that it has a house reef 20 metres off shore that is teaming with tropical fish, barracuda, moray eel and all other variety of marine life you’d expect over live coral. The water quality here is crystal clear making snorkelling even more amazing. If you fancy a dive the sites around here are incredible, either near the resort or on one of the neighbouring islands.

Most resorts we feature have an absolutely outstanding feature and at Sevenseas, the reef and diving is it. Add to that contemporary rooms, great staff and food and you and have an island paradise that you can relax in totally, with the lush hills behind you knowing that you are one of a handful of people privileged to be enjoying this tropical island.

Rooms

There are 4 room types starting with the Deluxe, then Seaview Deluxe, Seaview Villa and finally the Beachfront Villas. All are very contemporary, fairly minimalist and with a very clean finish from the polished stone flooring and good quality decking to the more detailed fixtures and fittings.

The rooms are in 4 small rows with the detached Beachfront Villas all at the front and the Seaview Villas in the next row behind but built in the gaps left by the Beachfront Villas so you still get that sea view. In the 3rd line there are Garden Villas with partial sea view.

Finally there are the attractive white wash buildings housing the Deluxe and Seaview deluxe, which are essentially the same. The former are downstairs but have larger bathrooms which have some garden in their semi outdoor environment. Upstairs the rooms do not have that garden but a balcony and those excellent sea views.

All rooms have flat screen TV, mini-bar, A/C, ceiling fan and open air bathrooms. Sizes range from 44m2 to 82m2 and The Beachfront Villas have an additional gazebo with daybed and more decking out front. These units are highly recommended - when you wake to the sunrise with the sea lapping the shore a few metres away, you really feel you’re in paradise.

Dining

The resort restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with Thai and international dishes available. Fresh seafood is the order of the day but a local chicken curry also hits the spot, amongst others. It’s very al fresco dining and the views out to Koh Muk while you eat your lunch are very idyllic.

There is also a beach bar and beach BBQ’s, poolside snacks and island picnics are also available.

Other Activities

A large swimming pool overlooking the ocean, snorkelling, diving (full PADI courses available), island excursions and walking. There is also an open air Spa with 3 treatment rooms.
