Location

Situated about 30 minutes from Chiang Mai town centre lies Tao Garden Wellness Retreat. An internationally renowned healing resort, founded by Master Mantak Chia, the creator of the Healing Tao, Tao Yoga, and the Universal Tao system. Master Chia has experience in Chinese and Thai medicine, Western holistic, and Ayurvedic Indian medicine. All of these disciplines have been brought together to establish complete wellness programmes at Tao Garden. It is also a good place from which to explore Chiang Mai, with a shuttle service from the resort into Chiang Mai city, whilst we can arrange more complex excursions for you, such as a visit to the Mae Sa Elephant Camp.

There is a swimming pool onsite, as well as meditation halls, chi kung pavilions, and tai chi centres. Food in the restaurant is prepared according to blood group types. Please note that no alcohol, coffee or smoking is allowed onsite.

Rooms

There are various categories of rooms to stay in, from 1 to 4 * We recommend the 3* or the 4* rooms, as the 1 and 2* are fairly basic (although acceptable). All rooms have airconditioning. There are no televisions.
