The island of Langkawi is becoming more well-known and is a great place to visit as you can easily get to know the whole island. On the east coast, the state of Terengganu remains somewhat unknown outside Asia; this coast is still virtually deserted and you can look along mile upon mile of white sandy beach as far as the eye can see. There are many islands within a short boat trip and if you want to "dive 'n' Spa" , you will be hard pushed to find better diving sites than here.
Going back to the west side of the country, the Pangkor Laut Resort needs little introduction, a private island with a perfect beach haven.
